Depriving children of role models and supervised healthy activity may be a rather subtle form of evil. The manner in which local government has destroyed children’s tennis at Summerway was hardly subtle. That employed tactics possibly best described as sleazy. If this is not challenged, evil is being allowed to triumph. xxxxx

We refer to our activities as the Summerway Campaign, and ‘Summerway Watchers’ is the name we have given to those who kindly back us with their moral support. Supporters receive our occasional campaign updates by email, and have no other commitment. All their email addresses are kept strictly confidential. We are seeking open scrutiny of issues which local government insists on ignoring. An explanation is also owed us regarding points and questions which officers in the Exeter City Council’s Community and Environment directorate have refused to address.
