Ian,

Thank you for this.

I sent Jim an e-mail outlining the current situation after Adrian and i met with you and emphasing that the club had a narrow window of opportunity.

I also informed him that, as far as Exeter City Council is concerned, he personally is persona non grata as a result of the web site and silly e-mails and that what the club need to do was to get on with a discussion as time is short, I even offered Adrian as a potential negotiator, given certain pre-conditions

Clearly he has taken no notice of that and is still hell bent on battering you down.

I have said that I can do no more and that is still how it stands.

I am very disappointed over what has happened but do not hold the Council in any way to blame.

If he goes to the press, I may decide to put out a press statement on behalf of Devon LTA.
