Representation:  The whole of the site should be allocated for housing to ensure that the merger of Summerway Middle School and Beacon Heath First School is viable.

ECC Response:  The playing fields provide a valuable local resource.

M Baker (Property Services) Ltd

Representation:  Allocations of the site is premature as disposal by the County Council and the Department of Education and Employment is yet to be agreed.

ECC Response:  The Department for Education and Employment have approved the County Council’s plans to dispose of this school site.

Exeter (Summerway) Junior Lawn Tennis Club

Representation:  Recommend that the development includes provision for expansion of the Tennis Club to meet the growing demand.

ECC Response:  This is a matter to be negotiated with the County Council as land owner.
