Dear Mr Harle

+

The Boundary Committee has now provided its advice to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government in the structural review of Devon.

 +

It is now for the Secretary of State to take a decision on whether:

to implement the original (i.e. Exeter) proposal, with or without modification

to implement our alternative proposal, with or without modification, or

to take no action

+

It is also open to the Secretary of State to request further information or advice from the Committee. Before taking his statutory decisions, the Secretary of State will be accepting representations about either our alternative proposal or the original proposal. This period runs from 8 December 2009 until 19 January 2010.

+

Your email has been forwarded to the Department of Communities and Local Government for consideration by the Secretary of State. If you have any further representations they should also be sent to them by email at DevonStructures@communities.gsi.gov.uk

 +

Yours sincerely

+
