There is no point in being totally pessimistic and assuming that it is impossible
for Local Government to become more child-friendly. Britain has the worst record
for child well-being out of the twenty-one OECD (rich) countries which had sufficient

the way Exeter City Council is depriving the City’s children, we can all see why.

It may be that ECC Councillors and Officers will begin to see the wider picture,
will consult the people and listen, instead of just pressing on with whatever schemes
spring into their minds, heedless of the consequences.
To show that this website recognises that change for the better is possible, this
master page is available for reporting any good news. The red of failure may be
complemented by the green of success. All the Club needs now is something to report!
